SMALL LUXURIES
A few favorites that make everyday rituals feel better.

The self-care luxuries I appreciate most are the small, consistent ones: a relaxing bath, soft plush towels, a beautiful fragrance, skincare that feels good on the skin.
My evening routine begins with a hot bath lightly scented with a fragrant oil that fills the room with a spa-like atmosphere. My current favorite is Dr. Hauschka’s Sage Purifying Bath Essence. The herbal scent helps me unwind and quietly signals the end of the day. It’s subtle, but it changes the mood.
After the bath, I follow with a deeply moisturizing body balm. I rotate through a few because I like trying new things, but right now I’m reaching most often for Susanne Kaufmann Body Butter (their bath oils are also lovely). It’s rich and nourishing, yet absorbs quickly. Indulgent, but practical.
I like to replace my towels frequently. There's something about a fresh set that elevates the entire experience. Soft, plush Turkish cotton towels are one of those everyday upgrades that make a difference immediately. I’m ready for an update and considering a scallop edge set or simply ribbed.
Dr. Diamond's Metacine remains my sole splurge when it comes to skincare. I’ve mentioned it several times before. The products feel more restorative than corrective. After several months of use, they’ve earned a permanent place in my routine. If you’ve been tempted to try, they’ve bundled the two products I use as a starter set. Another constant in my routine is a moisturizing lip balm, and Victoria Beckham’s Posh Balm is my current favorite. It was gifted to me by a friend, and I already know I’ll replace it once it’s used up. It’s sheer, hydrating, comfortable, and never feels like I’m wearing anything at all.
Fragrance has become part of the routine, too. Maison d’Etto’s I—Dream perfume, just a light spray in the morning, barely there, is one of two scents I started wearing in December. The fragrance story continues at home as well. I’m currently eyeing the Nicky Kehoe Bernard x Doen collaboration with a porcelain flower diffuser paired with Indra - “a fragrance of warm air, sun-warmed skin, and grass underfoot”. That sounds lovely. The hand sculpted flower is so beautiful, I’d happily leave it on display.
